Not working

Filter function is only half working, some of the dogs I see from my filter are still from random other states, and I noticed the filtered results is not all the dogs in my area. Also if I check a dogs profile and then go back to home page, the filter is gone and I have to refilter.
I contacted several owners in my city but no replies. Itd be helpful to at least automatically reply a message received or read notification. Maybe have a dashboard of your sent messages and status of request. It may also help to send reminders or give a time limit as to how long the owner has to reply ( maybe one to two weeks).
I love the concept, but unfortunately this app is just not working for me.
