Bark N Borrow – Dog Sitting, Walks & Home Boarding App Reviews

Interesting concept that is completely unusable due to the horrible structure of the app. How am I supposed to use your service if I cant even input my location? This app shouldnt even be available to download in its current condition. Waste of time.

Great concept but filled with bugs. Filled out my profile and tapped save, form cleared instead of saving. Lame. Needs work!

Search function is very frustrating.

This is cool for anyone that loves dogs. If you have a dog or dont this allows you to spend quality time with a furry friend. I was in the airport recently with two couples behind me talking about dog sitting while on vacation. The first thing that came to mind was bark n borrow. Pretty cool!

Hasnt worked for me. The owners Ive reached out to havent gotten back to me and there dont seem to be many opportunities in my area.

Filter function is only half working, some of the dogs I see from my filter are still from random other states, and I noticed the filtered results is not all the dogs in my area. Also if I check a dogs profile and then go back to home page, the filter is gone and I have to refilter. I contacted several owners in my city but no replies. Itd be helpful to at least automatically reply a message received or read notification. Maybe have a dashboard of your sent messages and status of request. It may also help to send reminders or give a time limit as to how long the owner has to reply ( maybe one to two weeks). I love the concept, but unfortunately this app is just not working for me.

I tried to reach out, but must not be good enough, no response. I have always had a dog, would love to help out with walking, etc. Today was nice, a friend let me walk the circumference of Treasure Island with their husky. No response from this site. Good luck to you.

Just sent my dog Avery on an awesome vacation with my sitter Henry. Communicating with Henry was easy!

What a cool app. Love the concept and design. I signed up to borrow pups and there are so many available to run and play with. So fun!

Such an awesome concept. Met a dog named Russ last weekend and had a great afternoon with him and my kids. Will be seeing him again soon!

Need to be able to filter by zip code. Also, in my borrow profile I added my dog, but when I view that profile my dog doesnt show up?

The customer service was exceptional when I was booking through BarkNBorrow. Kirsten of their concierge team personally introduced me to several sitters, whom were all of great standard. I went with the first candidate. I was away over the Christmas break for 10 days, with peace of mind that Oscar (my 1 year old labradoodle) was in safe and loving hands with his Sitter, "Sharron". I have already booked my next sitting with Sharron. Great service.

I cant have a dog because my husband is allergic. Ive gone on 2 hikes in the last week w/ the most amazing dogs... I was connected to them so easily and the owners were so grateful . I love this app!! Take advantage of this wonderful connection service.

Finally an app that let’s me hang out with a dog when I have my free time! My apartment building has a “No Pets” policy and Bark’N’Borrow helps me get my puppy-fix on the weekends. There are so many pups in my neighborhood and I was easily able to contact the owners for some play time. They were thankful that their dog was getting socialized and exercized. Can’t wait to make more doggie friends :)

This is such a great app--I had an amazing time playing with Dodger, the cutest little mutt Id ever met! This app is invaluable for doggie play dates, dog sitting, and just being able to have a dog friend if you cant own one. Everything is insured and checked for safety (as far as I can tell) so it really results in a positive app that just wants to connect dog lovers around the world!!!

Too many people thinking this is like a dog owner tinder or something. Almost everyone I spoke to are interested in meeting me not borrowing the dog, what the hell... I wish there was a way to filter these pervs

I originally downloaded this app to "borrow" dogs to get my puppy fix as I cant adopt one of my own at the moment, and it had ended up helping me launch a little dog walking side business! Still up and coming, there arent many members in the suburbs but seem to be a good number in the cities. Great idea and follow through!
